So do you like your fios better than comcast? I have been considering making the switch. How does your vonage work with it? Or did you get rid of your vonage? Can't remember.....
FiOS is easily twice as fast as Comcast. I was resetting my router and modem at least once a week and sometimes two or three times when I was on Comcast. In three months with FiOS I have not had one problem. It is almost eerie good. I keep expecting something to go wrong and nothing does. I was also having problems with Comcast throttling down my download speeds. I download a bunch of podcasts and movie clips. It was so aggravating for half the movie trailer to download in a few seconds, but then having to wait several minutes for it to finish! And to top it all off, I have never experienced better customer service (24/7 too!) than I get with Verizon! Comcast had limited hours, and they were obviously reading from menu'd scripts. They had no clue with Mac's and they were rude. Verizon has given me a great product, with great service, and even though I am using their more expensive, faster package; it is still cheaper than Comcast was!
As far as Vonage, I hear it works very well with Verizon. I had to stop my service while I was still with Comcast. With Comcast's filters I was loosing my internet connection every time I got a call. After the call I would have to reset the router. AUUUGH! Two of our neighbors have Vonage and FiOS and love them both.
